All lesser laws come from the Constitution. the Constitution states how the governmentworks and makes the Presidency. Each state has their own constitution and that is the highest law for hat state, although the US Constitution is the highes t. The Constitution gives all the laws. It say how the government works.
What was the first amendment?
the first amendment is freedom of speech, religion and of the press and right of petition.I think it is an important admendment because it was where you were allowed to say whatever you wanted to say.It was alsow where you could follow your own religion and nobody could tell you that you could not do it.

James Madison: James Madison was the fourht president of the United States. He was from Port Conway, Virginia. He wentto the college of New Jersey, which is now Princeton whe he was 17 years old. He studies government and history. Madison helped write the Constitution.
Ben Franklin: Benjamin Franklin was the 15th child of 17 children. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts.He mad e peace with britain at the end of the REvolutionary War.

The Constitution was written in 1787. It is over 200 years old. the first three states to ratify it were Delaware,, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey in 1887, 1812, and 1818.
